Jane Eyre, a ten year old, plain, quiet but passionate orphan lives with her mother's brother's family. However, after Mr. Reeds dies, she cannot live there any longer and goes to a charity school, Lowood Institution. She becomes a teacher there, but begins to work as a governes at Thornfield. She meets Mr. Edward Rocheter who is an ugly, passionate but a charismatic gentleman and falls in love with him.
